Casey Key Fish House
About This Spot
Casey Key Fish House is the kind of welcoming waterside retreat where time seems to slow down just enough to savor the steady rhythm of gentle waves and the murmur of friendly conversation. Nestled right along Blackburn Point Road, this seafood spot carries a relaxed, unhurried pace that invites guests to settle in, unwind, and linger over flavors that feel both fresh and thoughtfully familiar.
From the moment you arrive, there’s a palpable sense of ease — Adirondack chairs dot the waterfront edge, beckoning you to sip a cocktail while the sun softens into the horizon. The atmosphere strikes a delicate balance between lively and laid-back, where the occasional live band adds a welcoming soundtrack without ever overpowering the natural calm of the bay.
The menu complements the setting perfectly, bringing coastal treasures to the table with a simple, sincere touch. Whether it’s the crisp edges of a perfectly fried grouper sandwich, the comforting richness of lobster mac and cheese, or the vibrant zest of a blackened fish taco, each dish tells a story of the sea without fuss or pretense. Homemade touches — like the tangy, sweet Key lime pie or a fresh batch of conch fritters — round out this experience, offering little moments of surprise and delight with every bite.
Service here feels like catching up with a thoughtful neighbor rather than rushing through a transaction. The team greets each visitor with warmth and an easy attentiveness that helps the whole experience feel personal, whether you’re grabbing a casual lunch or settling in for a slow, conversation-filled dinner as the tide shifts.
With an inviting combination of genuine hospitality, waterside charm, and an honest-to-the-taste menu, Casey Key Fish House quietly embodies the spirit of coastal Florida — a place where both locals and travelers find space to unwind and feel connected through the shared pleasure of good food and the steady pulse of sea air.

The view and the food were both a win. I ordered mussels with white wine sauce and coconut shrimp and both were delicious.

My husband and I stopped here on our way back to Tampa and we loved it!! The views, the food, the atmosphere, and service were all amazing! Nicole was our waitress and she was so pleasant and welcoming. I got the blackened fish tacos special and my husband got the grouper sandwich. Both were amazing! The grouper is the freshest we’ve both ever had. When we return to the area we will definitely be back!

This was a lovely place for lunch. The waterside location was relaxing. Our server was friendly and attentive. Our foursome had variations on grouper. I had the tacos which were tremendous. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I frequent this amazing fish house every time we are in Florida. I absolutely love their almond red snapper…lemon, garlic, almonds, crispy on the outside, tender in the inside!! It comes with garlic mashed potatoes, ginger carrots and green beans. Just delish! My spouse had shrimp scampi which he said needed more garlic! But enjoyed his meal as well. Never a disappointment, I request to go to dinner there every time we are here in Florida!! Get there early or you will wait for a table!

Casey Key Fish House is a fantastic spot! I love having a cocktail here and relaxing in their adirondack chairs right on the water’s edge. With the live band playing, it’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy great music

This is a friendly and lovely place to stop and relax after a day of boating. I traveled by boat and stay here with my clients. Everyone is delighted. Dancing, live music, good food and drinks. I love this place. Thank you.

This has been my favorite meal here in siesta. We ordered the clam chowder (delicious), fish dip (delicious), grouper sandwich (delicious) and the yellowtail snapper (incredible). We even ordered a side of the pineapple Cole slaw (it sounds odd, but damn was it good). Service was so good. Danielle was our server and she was incredibly nice but so on the ball. Ask for her if you get the chance. The atmosphere was great... Open air, boats pulling in and a tiki bar next door. I loved this place and will be back soon
